Hasan shares his deeply moving journey of growing up, learning he was Intersex and then realising he was sexuality abused by a rogue doctor who said he was trying to help.
'In the UK Intersex bodies are currently (2018) not protected under law. Doctors are allowed to perform non-consensual "surgeries" on Intersex minors. The molestation of Intersex children continues unmonitored and justified in courts. Any organisation claiming to represent LGBTI+ people must be fighting for our right to bodily integrity.
Intersex people are still not included in the equalities act, LGBT rights are not fully inclusive of this to date.’
